The "Captivating" Chi Beta Chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc., has been serving the community of Rio Grande Valley since 2003. We uphold our principles and values through our involvement in the RGV community with our passion for the Latino Community. We serve as leaders who are "Empowered Women, Leading the World." Academics

Community Service
It is our responsibility, as good citizens, to give back to our community. We demonstrate in action what being a member of our organization is all about and what we believe in.
Cultural Awareness
Sigma Lambda Gamma’s official motto is “Culture is Pride, Pride is Success.” We are encouraged to explore our individual histories and share those traditions, customs, and experiences with fellow members.
Social Interaction
One of the benefits of joining SLG is the opportunity to interact with individuals of all backgrounds within and outside of our organization. By joining a membership composed of people from all walks of life, we learn more about the world around us while gaining a deeper understanding of ourselves.
